Storm Stayed Brewing now open in London

London – Storm Stayed Brewing Co. opens this Wednesday December 6, 2017 in Old South London at 169 Wharncliffe Road.

Founded by homebrewers and BJCP judges Michael Naish and Justin Belanger, the 4,200 sq-ft brewery features a 7bbl brewhouse with 1bbl pilot system, tap room with seven taps and retail store offering crowlers and growler fills.

Beer offerings at launch will include The Hunter American-style Porter, Breakwater American-style Pale Ale, and Moonshadow Berliner Weiss – complemented with a variety of housemade syrups including pomegranate/clementine, fig/demerara sugar, chestnut/vanilla, and chocolate mint.

A golden ale and IPA are to follow later this week. The brewery also notes 355ml cans will be available in the future.

“We have long ‘family style’ tables to encourage people interacting. Layout, tables and bar were designed with accessibility in mind. Open to all ages, we encourage families to spend time with us,” say the founders.

Food is provided by The Gathering Plate – salsa dip, pretzels and cheese sauce, nuts, pickles, and a variety of panini-pressed sandwiches. Vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options available.

Operating hours are Wed-Thur 3-9pm; Fri-Sat 11am-10pm, and Sunday 12-5pm.
