Righteously radical new beer releases


Affection Spelt Farmhouse Ale with Rosemary & Sage is out in 375ml bottles on December 7 from Half Hours on Earth Brewery in Seaforth – it was aged 7 months in Chardonnay barrels.

Sir Monty’s Brewing in Clarington has released a new Saison on draught and in growlers.

Beau’s Brewing has launched Glacial Gruit in collaboration with the Alliance of Natural History Museums of Canada (ANHMC). It’s brewed with yarrow, fireweed, rosehips, and buckwheat.

The fifth release in Lake Wilcox Brewing’s 12 days of Christmas is Some Would Even Say It Glows Red IPA – out today at the brewery in Vaughan.

Hamilton’s Collective Arts has released their first barrel-aged beer – Imperial Porter – aged for over a year in Kentucky Bourbon barrels. It’s available today at the brewery in 500ml bottles.

In Bracebridge, Muskoka Brewery has released a vertical gift box of Winter Beared Double Chocolate Cranberry Stout including 750ml bottles from 2015, 2015, and 2016.

On their opening day this Saturday, Small Pony Barrel Works in Ottawa will release PA System Golden Sour Ale aged in oak barrels with peaches and apricots.
