Nitro-charged Vanilla Porter from Mill St. Brewery heads to LCBO

mill-street-vanilla-porter-canMill St. Brewery of Toronto, ON is transitioning its Vanilla Porter into nitrogen-charged cans following a similar move with its Cobblestone Stout last November. Both cans employ a nitrogen-charged ‘gizmo’ akin to the widget used by Guinness in their Stout.

Brewed in the traditional English Porter-style, the Vanilla Porter weighs in at 5% ABV and employs roasted barley, Nugget Hops, and vanilla extract in its recipe.

LCBO availability details, released today through Ben’s Beer Blog , show Vanilla Porter hitting LCBO shelves as early as Tuesday, October 14. Wider distribution should be seen by week’s end.

Vanilla Porter is sold in 440mL cans for $2.90 each (LCBO #367151).
