Mash Magazine launches across CanadaTweet
The inaugural issue of Mash Magazine – described as the magazine about craft beer in Canada – is now out.
Mash Magazine joins a small resurgence of print beer magazines including the launch of Brewers Journal Canada in August 2016, rumoured Ontario version of The Growler from British Columbia, despite the collapse of TAPS Magazine’s print edition.
The magazine was founded by Thomas Gilbert and includes work from local authors Derek Harrison, Robin LeBlanc, David Ort, Moral Compass Ben Johnson, and more.
“MASH is Canada’s craft beer magazine, dedicated to taking the pulse of our craft beer culture and delivering an unflinching look at the men and women making great beer in this country. With every issue, you can expect the stories, images, and commentary shaping this quickly-growing industry, all produced with the same passion that has come to define Canada’s understanding of craft beer from St. John’s to Vancouver Island,” reads the publication’s description.
The May-June premier issue is available now at participating breweries and by subscription on a per-issue basis for $6.99 or one-year or two-year terms for $24 and $36 respectively. The magazine is published six times per year.
