Kensington Brewing now open in Toronto

Toronto – Kensington Brewing Co. opens their new home in Toronto’s Kensington Market on Tuesday August 15, 2017 at 299 Augusta Avenue at 11am.

Founded in 2011 by Brock Shepherd, the brewery took on a lease at 299 Augusta in March 2013 – experiencing numerous delays over more than four years.

A new leadership team has been installed consisting of Emma Livingston, President; Mike Gurr, VP Operations; Johnny Briggs, Head Brewer and Alicia Robbins, Retail & Bar manager, in addition to a new logo and branding.

The brewery’s bottle shop (cash only on opening day) lineup includes Baldwin Fisheye IPA, Leavened Dry-hopped Sour, Bonne Faim Belgian Tripel, Wagon Jobber Wheat IPA, Gamelle Grisette, In the Weeds Pale Ale, and Nasch Vienna Lager all in 500ml bottles.

Kensington Brewing’s tap room is slated to open later this week.
